Laurie Maffeo

Laurie (Art) wears many hats being the Owner's Assistant, Marketing Assistant, and Accounts Receivable at SERVPRO of Waterbury since December 2014. She studied at Central Connecticut State University, where she majored in Media Arts.  Her biggest asset is her friendly, organized and efficient work ethic. Her Go-Getter mentality is exactly how she plans to reach her goals of increasing revenue & morale here at SERVPRO. In her free time, Laurie enjoys painting, refinishing furniture, and spending time with her family.  “Tomorrow belongs to those who can hear it coming.” -David Bowie

Andrei Huertas

Andrei has been a Production Manager at SERVPRO of Waterbury dating back to December 2006. He began his work experience in general construction and the restoration industry many years ago. Andrei is accredited in Applied Structural Drying (ASD), Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Carpet Cleaning (CCT), and Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT.) Andrei strives to improve his management skills for providing our customers with the best possible service. Being bilingual, Andrei communicates in Spanish with some of our customers. He seeks new ideas to keep up with evolving technologies in the metaverse. Andrei loves to play soccer, fish, swim, and spend time with his son. Andrei's favorite motivational quote is, "be the best version of yourself today; the future is not promised."

Jerry Kotlarz

Jerry has been our Office Controller at SERVPRO of Waterbury since September 2008. Before starting his career here at SERVPRO, Jerry was in Automotive Finance Management. He embraces new technologies and is always looking to improve/simplify the way we do things. Jerry's Tech knowledge and skills are a big asset to the team. "If you can't find the time to do it right the first time... how will you find the time to do it again?"

Nick Mousch

Nick joined SERVPRO of Waterbury in November 2015 and has developed his talents into becoming a Production Manager. He had experience as a Food Service Manager, which helped him to sharpen his skills in communication and customer service. Nick can drive a forklift and is accredited by the IICRC as a WRT and AMRT applied microbial remediation technician. He is ServSafe trained and is DryBook knowledgeable, including Xactimate software. Nick endeavors to learn as much as he can to help others, including his fellow workers at SERVPRO. He likes spending time with friends, enjoys stand-up comedy, good food, and challenging board or video games. Nick's favorite motivational quote is, "If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten." Tony Robbins

Derek Schachter

Derek has been a member of SERVPRO of Waterbury since August 2018 and is now our Compliance Specialist and Job File Coordinator. Derek is a certified WRT water damage restoration technician from the IICRC. He enjoys working in a fair and organized management environment and has a goal of more autonomous project management and eliminating administrative responsibilities. Derek graduated from BU Boston University and collects vinyl records. He also enjoys watching television, movies, and cooking. His favorite motivation quote is from Gandi--"Be the change you wish to see in the world."

Kristin Kline

Kristin has been the Operations Manager at SERVPRO of Waterbury since Dec. 2018. She began her career as a receptionist in 2009. Kristin has honed her office skills and job knowledge of the restoration industry throughout the years.

 She is proficient in Xactimate software and is especially excited about learning from her office and production team members. She enjoys learning something new every day, always broadening her perspectives. Kristin endeavors to make all around her more successful, including herself.

When not in the office or the field, Kristin has many talents and hobbies:

Peter Demarco

Peter has been our Marketing Manager SERVPRO of Waterbury since January 2023. He has 30 years of experience in the home furnishings industry in sales. Peter is a master with the Xactimate software to set up estimates and customer accounts. Every day is a new situation, and the ability to help our neighbors during traumatic times provides great satisfaction. Peter enjoys cooking, and his favorite quote is from Winston Churchhill, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts."

Jim Book

Jim is SERVPRO of Waterbury's most recent addition to our Business Development and Marketing team. He will work closely with our expert partner, Connecticut Reconstruction Services, to ensure a smooth transition from inspection to final restoration and reconstruction. We promise one contact point for project completion. After graduating from Duke University, Jim relished a 30-plus-year career in the financial services field. He values being able to assist people when help is needed, and now he is part of a culture with the same driven emotion. Jim wants SERVPRO of Waterbury to be the first click or call for recovery services in our entire service area.

His entire family was born and raised in lower Fairfield County and has moved back to Wilton, CT, building their dream home with a horse farm. Jim has a passion for coaching youth and high school sports. He served many years on the Board of Darien Youth Lacrosse and the Darien Junior Football League and still finds time to coach the Express North Lacrosse Club, which attracts players from Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT. He spends time helping his wife with their small horse farm. Jim is busy but covers all the bases.

Briana Pascale

Briana joined our SERVPRO of Waterbury team as a Customer service rep in November 2021. She is excited to use her car dealership experience in the service department to assist inquiries from potential customers in our service area. She is impressed by our office staff, sales reps, and production crews and is learning as she goes. When not at work, Briana enjoys stand-up comedy with Nick and hanging out with friends. She has a nail kit set at home and enjoys doing her nails and those of her friends. She has a cherished quote, "Our greatest glory is not in never falling but rising every time we fall."

Mikey Perez

Mikey is a Production Technician at SERVPRO of Waterbury, starting in January 2022. His experience as a firefighter / IMTT-safety tech amplifies his dedication to performance. He has secured multiple certifications in this field, a few being: Hazmat Technician, CPR, BIS< First-Aid, and AED. Mikey is impressed with the teamwork and the excellent working environment at SERVPRO. He plans to develop restoration skill sets and move up the ladder of command. Mikey is already a huge asset to our workforce. Mikey likes to engage in automotive repairs when not at work, and his favorite quote from ROCKY is, "That ain't you."

Henry Rosario

Henry has been a Crew Chief at SERVPRO of Waterbury since December 2022. He left Rite Aid to contribute and learn about the cleanup and restoration industry. He grows more each day in his job skills and is a valuable member of our service crew. Henry can be found at the gym, biking around town, or at home, reading when not at work.

John Crosby

John has been our Equipment Supervisor at SERVPRO of Waterbury since August 2022. He started his career in construction and has since worked his way to being certified at In House Water Specialist Training, Blood Pathogen, and Pack & Moving here at SERVPRO. John is a very motivated member of our crew with the goal to work in our Marketing Department one day. Outside of work, John is a songwriter/ musician.
